It’s amazing what God is up to.
We celebrated our first (Official)
Mother’s Day for Lynn. It was a wonderful weekend, with the Baby Dedication,
and being able to bring Faith up to be dedicated. After all that we’ve
been through to get Faith, and thinking that we weren’t even going
to have children – for Lynn to hear Faith say “Mom”, and when
she hugs me and says “I love you Daddy” – we know we are blessed.
Mother’s day was great! We had Lynn on video during the service talking about the experience of being a mom, and there were a lot of people crying that Sunday. A lot of people were missing their moms, and I was one of them, but I know one day I‘m going to see her again!
I can’t wait until this Sunday to see what else God is going to do. We’ve had over 70 baptisms in the last month, and it is looking like we’re going to have 100 more in a couple of months the way things are going. We’re having 10 – 15 salvations every weekend!
It is amazing what God is up to at Marathon, and I’m glad I am in on it!
